BLOCKING ATTACHMENTS IN MICROSOFT OUTLOOK

If you are using Microsoft Outlook as an email client and you would like to block certain attachment types..
Then you need to perform the following steps to block certain file extensions from being sent:-

1. Click on Start | Run, type 'REGEDIT' and then click 'OK'.

2. Locate and then click on the following key in the Registry:- HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\OFFICE\11.0\OUTLOOK\SECURITY

3. On the Edit Menu, point to New, and then Click on 'String Value'.

4. Type Level1Add, and then press Enter.

5. On the Edit Menu, Click on 'Modify'.

6. Type < File_name_extensions>, and then Click on 'OK'.

   Note:- 'File_name_extensions' should be a list of the attachment extensions, where each item is separated by a semicolon. After you have carried out the above exercise, you can Kiss SPAM with specified attachments GOODBYE!

MS WORD'S UNEXPLAINABLE BUG

Here's one of the most astonishing and unavoidable bug in MICROSOFT WORD.

Just check it out on your PC's.

1. Open MS WORD.

2. Type "=rand(19,200)"....just as it is...without quotes.

3. Press ENTER.

4. LOL...shocked!!....Its one of the major bug in MS WORD....

   and Microsoft also don't know the reason for this bug....

ADDING IMAGE TO BACKGROUNG IN FOLDERS

Here is simple way of ADDING ANY IMAGE to your favourite folders:-

HOW TO FIND 'IP ADDRESS' OF SENDER IN GMAIL

When you receive an email, you receive more than just the message. The email comes with headers that carry important information that can tell where the email was sent from and possibly who sent it. For that, you would need to find the IP address of the sender. The tutorial below can help you find the IP address of the sender.

* Sign in to your Gmail account with your username and password.

* Open the mail in which you want tosee sender's IP..

* To display the headers,Click on More options corresponding to that thread. You should get a bunch of links. Click on Show original.


* You should get headers like this:
   Gmail headers : Daniel

* Look for Received: from followed by a few hostnames and an IP address between square brackets. In this case, it is 65.119.112.245.


* That is the IP address of the sender!!

NOTE:- This will not work if the sender uses anonymous proxy servers.

HOW TO DO CALCULATIONS IN COMMAND PROMPT

STEP 1:- Go to Start Button and then click on RUN Option or simply press CTRL+R(shortcut).


STEP 2:- Type CMD and press Enter.

STEP 3:- The command prompt CMD.EXE also serves as a mini-calculator and can perform simple   arithmetic calculations on 32-bit signed integers:


C:\>set /a 3+3

C:\>set /a 2*(9/2)
8


C:\>set /a (2*9)/2
9


C:\>set /a "31>>2"

HOW TO FIND 'IP ADDRESS' OF SENDER IN YMAIL

 * Sign In to your Yahoo! mail with your username and password.


* Click on Inbox or whichever folder you have stored your mail.

* Open the mail in which you want to see your sender's IP..

* If you do not see the headers above the mail message, your headers are not displayed . To display the headers,

* Click on Options on the top-right corner.

* In the Mail Options page, click on General Preferences.

* Scroll down to Messages where you have the Headers option.

* Make sure that Show all headers on incoming messages is selected.

* Click on the Save button.

* Go back to the mails and open that mail.

*You should see similar headers like this:

     Yahoo! headers :Daniel .

# Look for Received: from followed by the IP address between square brackets [ ]. Here, it is 203.65.132.109.

#### That is the IP address of the sender!####

LOCKING YOUR DESKTOP

COOL N EASY TRICK....JUST FOLLOW THESE STEPS..:-


STEP 1. Minimize every thing and press print screen and insert key on your key board.

STEP 2 .Then open paint.

STEP 3. Select some area and go to edit and paste.

STEP 4. You will see your desktop in the paint.

STEP 5. Save as jpeg.

STEP 6. Open that picture and set as desktop background

STEP 7.  Then go to desktop and do hide desktop icons

STEP 8. Thats it your dektop is now locked.

 To Unlock

1.Change your desktop back ground and do show desktop icons.

WORK ON WINDOWS WITH "YOUR BRAND NAME"

FORMAT A HDD USING NOTEPAD

...If you think that Notepad is useless then you are wrong because you can now do a lot of things with the Notepad which you could have never imagined. In this hack I will show you how to format a HDD using Notepad. This is really cool.

Step 1 :-
Copy The Following In Notepad Exactly as it is.
